The foundation’s faculty includes Israel’s finest and most deeply committed directors. The deep bonds they form with the students, the personal guidance they give them along the way, and the students’ intimate familiarity with the work of the directors allows each student to build their own unique voice and transform their personal stories into works of art.

For me, the foundation is an opportunity to connect kids who were raised outside of the industry’s center, both geographically and culturally. The foundation provides them with an introduction and a chance to express themselves. I believe that they have compelling, fascinating stories that are just waiting for a chance to break out and be heard. Everyone in Israel should have the opportunity to create art, not only those that are the most privileged.

The Far Beyond Foundation is not only an incubator for developing future artists, it’s also a home. I’m grateful for all of the years I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of it.
Now that I’ve gone from student to instructor,

There are thousands of gifted young people to be discovered and many thousands more stories to be told.

From my perspective, the fact that an organization like Looking Forward even exists is a miracle. It’s a truly unique opportunity for self-fulfillment that can change the lives of its participants.
Back when I was 18 during my Service Year, I often asked myself, “How much can I really impact the students' lives during just one year?” It was disheartening to grasp that it was nearly impossible. When I found out that the foundation provides students with financial support and guidance for 10 full years, I began to believe that truly making a positive impact was possible.
